Intro
The remote service is a powerful function for MyPod, you can:
1. Control the app from your desktop browser or other device.
   - Add feeds.
   - View feeds and download episodes.
   - Play downloaded files (useful if you are working at your laptop and you can plug you device into your stereo).
   - Stream episodes from the content provider.
   - Most of the basic functionality of the app.
2. Import your feeds from one device to another.
3. Stream download episodes to other devices (anything with a browser)

The remote service only works when WIFI is available. If the connection is lost then the server stops.

The URL for the service is shown below the start/stop buttons when the server is running. You can email yourself these URLs.

If you use the service a lot, you might want to fix your IP address on you WIFI router, most Routers have this functionality, but the actual process varies.

The web interface uses most of the same icons as the normal app, so if you know them they should be the same functions.

Known issues
1. Sometimes the IP address for the device doesn’t parse properly (comes up with negative numbers) if this happens to you then please get in contact

2. Once the service has been started and stopped you have top exit and re-enter the screen to restart it.

3. Streaming to PS3 doesn’t work well, still trying to nail it down. You can however use the download link on the simple interface to download episodes to your PS3. They will appear in your Audio / Videos menu after downloading. Also, the downloads cant run in the background for some reason, which is a pain. If anyone has much experience with the PS3 browser then I would love to hear form you email

4. The View feed uses a different parser so some feeds may not load the same as in the app.
